UAC Leadership Team

Thomas is a passionate Mainer currently working for WEX as an Accountant II on the General Ledger Team. Within WEX, Thomas has gotten involved in various Employee Resource Groups designed for community outreach and spreading cultural awareness. Now, within the Unified Asian Community organization as the President and Treasurer, Thomas works to provide support and bring a feeling of inclusivity to Asian communities across Maine.
Prior to WEX, Thomas attended the University of Maine in Orono where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance. During his time in University, Thomas held several leadership positions for different groups with the purpose of spreading cultural diversity and awareness around campus and Maine as a whole. 
Thomas’s parents emigrated from China in the 1980’s. Thomas was born in Brooklyn as the youngest of three but moved to Maine at a very young age. Thanks to his parents and his upbringing, he speaks fluent Cantonese and English. Thomas has lived here for almost all of his life and he loves being involved in the increasingly diverse communities of Maine.
